1. The site rules apply. Everything in the rules holds for an advertisement exactly as it holds for a ribbit. There is no separate, looser standard for the things that pay.
2. Be who you say you are. The advertiser's name is shown on the unit. It has to be the name of whoever is actually selling the thing.
3. The landing page has to be the thing the advertisement said it was. Not a redirect chain to something else, not a different offer, not a page that immediately asks for something the advertisement never mentioned.
4. No fake urgency and no imitation. No countdowns that reset, no invented scarcity, and nothing drawn to look like part of this site or like a message from it. An advertisement that has to be mistaken for something else to work is not one we will run.
5. Refusals are written down. If a campaign is refused you are told why, in words, and you can change it and send it again. That is the same way every moderation decision on this server works, and buying something here does not put you outside it or above it.

The same thing that happens to an account that breaks the site rules: an action with a written reason, on the record, visible to whoever it was taken against. There is no separate quiet process for advertisers, because a quiet process for the people paying is exactly the thing this site was built not to have.
